Head of Group Accounting, Tax & Consolidation

Your mission

The Head of Group Accounting, Tax & Consolidation is responsible for the Group-wide accounting function and tax coordination across the ISOPLUS Group. This role ensures the integrity, transparency, and compliance of all financial reporting and consolidation processes across national and international entities. Working closely with the CFO, Treasury, Controlling, and local Finance organizations, the position drives the harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement of Group-wide accounting, tax, and reporting processes. In addition, the role serves as the primary interface to external auditors, banks, external advisors, and internal stakeholders, making a significant contribution to the further development of the international Finance organization of the ISOPLUS Group. 
 
Group Accounting & Consolidation
  • Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
  • Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant Group reporting
  • Managing and overseeing Group-wide consolidation processes
  • Ensuring consistent accounting and reporting standards across all Group entities
  • Developing and maintaining Group accounting policies and governance frameworks
Tax Coordination & Compliance 
  • Managing and coordinating Group-wide tax matters
  • Acting as the central point of contact for tax-related topics across international subsidiaries
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Supporting tax optimization initiatives within the Group structure
Finance Governance & Process Excellence 
  • Driving the continuous improvement of consolidation, accounting, and reporting processes
  • Enhancing Group-wide governance frameworks and internal control systems
  • Promoting standardization, automation, and digitalization across the Finance organization
  • Ensuring high levels of data quality, transparency, and process reliability
Stakeholder & Interface Management 
  • Serving as the primary contact for external auditors, banks, and external advisors
  • Collaborating closely with Treasury, Controlling, and local Finance teams
  • Supporting financing-related reporting and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring effective collaboration across international legal entities and organizational structures
Leadership & Organizational Development 
  • Providing functional and disciplinary leadership to the Group Accounting team
  • Developing organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities within the team
  • Fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and professional team culture
  • Contributing to the development of a scalable and future-oriented Finance organization
Strategic Projects & Transformation 
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and Finance transformation projects across the Group
  • Participating in integration and harmonization initiatives
  • Driving the further development of Group-wide systems and reporting structures
  • Supporting the continuous evolution of the international Finance operating model

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
  • Proven leadership experience within international Finance organizations
  • In-depth knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), Group accounting, and consolidation
  • Experience with ERP and consolidation systems, ideally LucaNet and IDL
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and hands-on working style
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic and transformation-driven environments
  • International mindset and collaborative way of working
