(Senior) Group Accountant (m/f/d)

Your mission

In this Position, you will take on a key role within the group´s finance function. You are responsible for the accounnting of selected holding entities and ensure a high level of quality and transparency in financial data. With your strong expertise in HGB accounting as well as involvement in reporting and group consolidation, you make an important contribution to the financial streering and further development of the group.
  • You are responsible for the accounting of two German holding companies and ensure the accurate and compliant recording of all business transactions. 
  • A key part of your role is the independent preparation on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB. 
  • In addition, you contribute to the preparation of reporting packages for shareholders and banks and perform detailed balance sheet analyses. 
  • You ensure compliance with all legal and internal accounting standards under HGB. 
  • Working closely with local finance teams, tax advisors, and auditors, you support smooth closing and audit processes. 
  • You actively contribute to the further development of quality assurance and internal control processes within accounting. 
  • You support the monthly data integration and consolidation of subsidiaries (e.g. in LucaNet and IDL).
  • You responsibilities also include supporting the preparation of the group financial statements under HGB. 

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a commercial education and ideally hold a qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or a comparable certification. 
  • You bring several years of professional experience in accountnng and finance - ideally gained in an international company or a tax advisory environment. 
  • You are highly confident in HGB accouting and have initial experience in consolidation. 
  • You are comfortable operating in an international environment and have a good command of both German and English. 
  • Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as LucaNet or IDL is an advantage. 
  • You work in a structured and reliable manner, with a strong focus on quality. 
  • A precise and detail-oriented working style, combined with a high level of responsibility, characterizes you. 
  • You think in a solution-oriented way, show initiative, and enjoy working as part of a team.
