Your mission

As Group Business Controller – Sales (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in the data-driven controlling of the group’s sales activities. You create transparency on revenue, volume, and margin development and thereby make a significant contribution to sustainable and profitable growth. Through well-founded analyses, meaningful reports, and reliable forecasts, you support the sales organization and management in steering and further developing the business.
  • You analyze revenue, volume, and margin developments as well as customer and product profitability, creating transparency on key value drivers. 
  • A key part of your role is the preparation of revenue forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases to support the sales strategy.
  • You define and continuously develop relevant reports and KPI dashboards for effective business steering.
  • You prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and variance analyses, presenting results in a clear and structured way.
  • You support market and competitive analyses and provide valuable input for strategic decision-making in sales.
  • In addition, you drive the further development of reporting as well as CRM and BI tools within the sales environment.
  • You contribute to the budgeting process and support monthly variance analyses and performance reviews.
  • Your responsibilities are rounded off by assessing the profitability of tenders, projects, and framework agreements, as well as controlling large-scale projects.

Your profile

  • You have successfully a degree in Controlling, Finance, or a comparable qualification.
  • You bring several years of experience in controlling – ideally with a focus on (international) sales.
  • You have strong hands-on experience in preparing revenue forecasts.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel and experienced in working with CRM systems. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • You have experience in defining controlling processes, KPI dashboards, and building forecasting models.
  • You are comfortable operating in an international environment and have a strong command of both German and English.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage and helps you integrate quickly into existing structures.
  • A solid understanding of B2B business models complements your profile – ideally in infrastructure, energy, or industrial manufacturing.
  • You work in a proactive and self-driven manner, with a strong focus on quality.
  • You combine analytical thinking with a clear, solution-oriented approach.
  • You bring strong conceptual skills and enjoy building new structures and solutions.
  • A professional and reliable manner, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset round off your profile – particularly in working with sales and operations functions.
