Your mission

In this Role, you will take on an important role in the financial steering of the group. You contribute significantly to the transparency and quality of financial information and provide well-founded analyses as a basis for business decisions. Working closely with group management and the subsidiaries, you ensure a clear understanding of financial performance and actively contribute to the further development of controlling processes and tools.

You support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and perform structured variance analyses.
A key part of your role is the preparation and facilitation of monthly performance reviews with the group’s entities. In doing so, you create transparency on financial developments and their key drivers.
You continuously analyze cost, profitability, and liquidity developments and provide management with meaningful insights.
You are also involved in forecasting activities throughout the year, the annual budgeting process, and mid-term planning, thereby contributing to the financial steering of the group.
In addition, you contribute to the further development of the reporting landscape and tools while ensuring high data quality.
You act as a trusted contact for group management and subsidiaries on financial matters.
Your responsibilities are rounded off by independently conducting ad-hoc analyses and contributing to cross-functional projects.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of experience in controlling and are confident in working with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Ideally, you have gained initial experience in corporate planning – both at individual entity level and in consolidation.
You work confidently and efficiently with Excel and LucaNet. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
You are comfortable operating in an international environment and have a strong command of both German and English.
In addition, you have solid experience with ERP systems.
A good understanding of B2B business models complements your profile – ideally with exposure to infrastructure, energy, or industrial manufacturing.
You approach your work in a proactive and self-driven manner, with a strong focus on quality.
You combine analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to present complex topics in a clear and structured way.
A precise and detail-oriented working style, along with a strong affinity for numbers, comes naturally to you.
Your profile is rounded off by strong communication skills, a professional and reliable manner, as well as a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across interfaces – particularly with international entities.
